Lucy Pinder and the censorshipPosted: Thu Dec 06, 2012 3:32 pm    Subject: Lucy Pinder and the censorship Reply with quote

Well, everybody knows about that some ads of the 2011 internet Lynx campaign where Lucy made a good work have been censored Sad .
An edited pic of Lucy just has been censored by Facebook in a post of the aussie magazine "Zoo Weekly". It has been judged too much degrading for women because it was asked wich part of woman people prefers: the left or the right? As you can see on the pic, the top of Lucy had been roguishly put at the left side of the bottom Hehe :

It seems that a (little) part of people is too much sensitive in a sexist, sexual interpretation . So does this mean that warned or enough mature people are not allowed to take benefit on the media with subjects that they know to handle? Irked So just a pic of Lucy in bikini would be forbiden for all public media cos it's already so hot! No wait a minute Scratch Chin ... She shouldn't go and sunbath on a public beach, it would be too much sexual for young people! Irked

Plus, a lot of pics are subject of sexual misunderstandings cos of optical illusions. Should they be censored too. If you want to see some exemples and have a time of fun Laugh , look at the slide show at the end of this page, sorry it doesn't exist in english yet.

It's my birthday but it's me who offer a present! ROFL

Speaking about optical illusions, Lucy just has posted that on twitter. This poster could have a great success for people who wants Lucy in their living room. Big Smile

I think this chap in the comments has pretty much got it Smile

I think it's a horrible photoshop because it's gruesome, but it's not "degrading", any more than a shop window dummy is degrading. The context is dodgier than the photo.

Also they don't seem to have realised that it's not Lucy cut in half, it's both Lucy and Sophie cut in half...

Right! Thumb Up!
This is the illusion, and this one creates a quiproco (misunderstanding) in the context wich is badly interpretated by people who can be sensitive to a sexist or sexual side or something else. Big Grin

When we see a pic with Lucy in small suit cooking a turkey, well, what can make people think that it could be something degrading for women? Mmmh? I think if we put us in a same context, then if it was a man, it could be degrading for men too... Wry Big Smile
